"If Jesus Christ be God and died for me, then no sacrifice can be too great for me to make for Him."

  • Mood: singing sing singing
  • Music: Instead-Stacie Orrico
  • Reading: The Foxe's Book of Martyrs
  • Verse: Luke 10:2

Isn't the Lord good?! Oh He is so good! I'm so blessed to be able to look at my relationship with the Lord and fully be able to say that it's a friendship, a personal relationship. It's not religion or anything like that. But a true personal relationship where I can go to Him and talk to Him and listen to Him. And The Lord will take care of me and teach me and draw me closer to Him. Oh how blessed I am. And I'm so not worthy of it... but oh what a priviledge!

Sometimes life throws things at me. But what can get me down when I'm talking with my Lord? It's just when I slip out of that, I get down. I get really down. I slip into meloncholyness. But when I spend time in God's word and in prayer... what can bring me down? Nothing can make me meloncholy!

I'm in such a singy mood. All I want to do is sing and sing and sing!

I love poetry with brilliant rhymes,
And songs that draw me in
With clever opening lines
I love rainy Sunday afternoons
Being kissed by sun,
And dreaming under the moon
The way the ocean feels at high tide,
The gentle stillness of midnight, Oh I-

I love the way You are so good to me,
I love the way You're so inspiring,
I don't know why You love me like You do,
But I love You.

I love all the signs of city life,
And marvel at the way
The world just hurries by
I love breathing in the mountain air,
Climbing to the top,
And finding that You're there
Catching glimpses of Your mysteries,
I find Your fingerprints on everything
What I mean

I hear Your music everywhere,
So gentle, yet so strong,
Your melody floats on the air,
And every time I hear You there,
I've got to sing along

Isn't He inspiring? Isn't he Amazing and wonderful? I'm in awe of my Lord!

I find it amusing... I find it amusing that most gals and guys my age are in love with each other. I've got sucked into that, twice. But not anymore, I'm too in love with my Lord. Someday, the Lord will give me someone to love, but I will not, can not waste my time with that right now. And it's so amusing that I think like that. Cause I've never thought this way ever.

*sigh* I can not wait... can't not wait at all to be in Heaven! To be with my Lord! To sit at the feet of my Lord and worship Him. To talk, to see His face. To spend eternity with Him. OH PRAISE GOD!!! That sounds so perfect, so wonderful, yet so far away.

Ok so i found these really cool quotes about missions. And they are like so true. And I can't understand why we are so put inside of our Bubble. Not willing to move out of our comfort zone. As Christians our entire focas should be Missions. And I know that not everyone is called to go across seas. BUT... I do know that every Christian is called to a ministry whether it be where you live or across the world.

At times I get so frustrated with America. Patience with America, especially teens, is hard for me to get and keep. Depending on the situation... I just have no pity or sympathy. Sometimes as teens we just do such stupid things. And the thing is... we Know better. Yet, we do it anyway! I mean, if we know we are doing sometihng we shouldn't but continue to do it. Even after getting advice... and we continue it. How immature of us.

Or Religion. America is so caught up in religion. What does religion hold? Nothing... it's so empty! Christianity should not be caught up in religion it should be caught up in Christ. We should have our focas on God. We should be so blinded by the Love of God that all we wish to do is serve Him. And some people say "Oh I'm not called into missions" Yes... you are! If you are a christian... The Lord says "Go into all the world and preach the gospel" Meaning in your work place... at home... in school... why don't we see that need? We're so caught up in ourselves, that we forget the Great cause of Jesus Christ. We forget our role. We are servants, called to do His ministry and notihng else.

lol... ok... well, here are some of the quotes....

Makes me shiver.... I'm called... I'm called... there is just so much to it. It's so big... but it's what is expected of me. I'm not scared as some think I Must be. I have a peace about it. What makes me shiver is that I realize that there are so many! So many hearts that need to be told. So many. And I can only reach what few come into my life. I just can't tell everyone like I want to. I wish I could tell every person. But I am only one person... but PRAISE GOD, because he has called all of us to missions. Now let's see how many follow Him. Let's see how many listen and serve.

Ok.. I'm done babbling. I'm just so happy!!! God is so good! Don't you agree?! God Bless!

Dear Jess,

THANKS soo much for commenting! It makes my day! lol! If you indeed can't think of anything... not that I even mind not saying anything... but if you feel like you can't think of what to say... leave me a verse!

I could relate to this post... I thought you'd enjoy this verse:

"Revelation 22:3-4 And there shall be no more curse: but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it; and his servants shall serve him: And they shall see his face; and his name shall be in their foreheads."

I LOVE that passage...! It's one of my (many) favorites. I hope it strikes you too!
