I GOT MY APPLICATION!!

lol... See how the Lord works? He works in wonderful and mysterious ways. That our minds can not begin to understand. OH HOW WONDERFUL MY LORD WORKS!

Now, I will fill it out... send it tomorrow... and wait for an answer.

I do not have to tone it down... I CAN SHOUT IT TO THE HIGHEST MOUNTAIN! THE LORD WANTS TO USE ME FOR HIS SERVANT!!! ORDINARY ME!!!

OK NOW THAT WAS BRAGGING!

Rofl ROFL... LOL LOL LOL! Just kidding... oh my goodness I crack myself up! Isn't great that the Lord created us with a sense of humor?

And the morning starts...

Last night, I was told that I was boasting and bragging. And I needed to tone it down about my missionary work. I was told that... "on the internet" people do not see what is going on here. And so all I sound like is that I am bragging. hmmmm...

I suppose I will tone it down. But only on the internet... those I always thought my internet friends were more supportive of me then some of my friends here. Ack... at least i will not tone it down in my journal. My journal is a place I put my thoughts... whether they are good or bad.

I know I'm not perfect, but I certainly didn't mean it at all as bragging. Sooo... I had a good crying spell. One that was much needed. I still feel like I don't wish to talk to anyone.

I have this feeling... where I'm expected to be so perfect... I even expect myself to be perfect. And get really frustrated with myself even at little mistakes... such as getting annoyed... or feeling like I don't want to talk to anyone. I feel like I'm being extremely immature.

I just want to get away... away from this world to a place where it's only me and my Lord! I want to sit at His feet and just listen as Mary did in the Bible.

Another thing I am told over and over. Is that I do not know what I am getting myself into. I suppose not. I have no clue, but that's not what matters. I don't have to know what I'm getting into. That's not my job. It's god's job to show me what I'm getting into, in His timeing. All I'm suppose to do is trust. I know this is were he wants me. It's not a matter of if I want to go or not. It's a matter of listening to the Lord.

And it is so hard not to get frustrated with people. Christians are suppose to be supportive and encouraging that we follow the will of the Lord. Yet, so many times we discourage each other.

I ENCOURAGE EVERY CHRISTIAN TO LISTEN FOR GOD'S WILL AND CALLING! AND THEN I ENCOURAGE YOU TO GET OUT TO DO IT.

It is so hard at times. But, rely on the Lord. Not the world. Because the world will get you down! They will try everything possible to stop you. Even people that you consider strong. Do not rely on the encouragement of the world. Because their words are vain. But stand tall in the encouragement of the Lord. Do not listen to the world around you, but find a quiet place in which you can listen to the Lord. Do not waver from side to side, but stand firm in what you know is God's will.

I especially ask you to consider this, if you are a teen, do not listen to your peers. there are times when they will offer some wisdom. But very few times will they offer it. It is better to listen to your elders. And though there are times when we do not want to. I will say, that they will give you encouragement more then any others. Because they know what you are going through and that understand your calling. And even then, there will be times when youe elders don't see it, but you must still stand tall in what you know is true.

You must realize that the voice of an elder who is a Christian is to be valued, deeply. But even a elder is human, and can sometimes fail. If no one agrees with your calling them pray and reevalulate things. But if it still seems like this is what the Lord will is. Then stand tall in what you KNOW is true. (of course you should never go against an elder... and God has said that we need to listen to them... but we need to listen to him first)

There will be times when we will be so disheartened. And the world will be so bleak and cold. And you will wish that you could just leave this world and be with your Lord. Because there is just no hope. But that is not what the Lord wants... and you must put your hope in the Lord. Because the Lord is the only one who will not let you down.

We may not know what this world holds... but if we can only put our trust in the Lord he will carry us through every hard spot in our lives. No matter what it is. Because he is God.

Do not be mad at the world for how they treat you, but joy that you have the Lord and can tell them about it. Do not be mad at your fellow Christians, but encourage them when they need it. Joy in the fact that the Lord is in control, always and forever!

No one thought he could do it, but he knew that he had to make a stand for God. He knew this was God's will. So he stood tall in what he knew was right. And he went before the King. And even then the King did not believe he could do it, but no one else would take the stand so he gave David his permission. And David soared above all expectations! And GOD WAS GLORIFIED!!!

Make Glorifying the Lord your First Priority! And the Lord will direct you!

Philippians 3

'Nothing should take prioity over Jesus Christ"

Every thing else is dung... not worth it... compared to my Lord and Savior. What better thing is there then to live for Him?

But to have that mind frame... we must die... Die to self. And become completely given to the Lord. We have to worship something... if it's not God then who are you worshipping? Who am i worshipping? It has to be a daily thing... we must decided that we are going to worship the Lord this day. And then again tomorrow and the next day. We must wake up and make that desision. "I'm going to be joyful in the Lord and do his work today." When we do this, we also decide what our aditude for the day will be. We make the desision for how we are going to act. Everything we do is a desision.... we can make the desision to blow up or the desision to trust in the Lord. WHAT WILL YOU DO?

Acts 14
²⁶   And thence sailed to Antioch, from whence they had been recommended to the grace of God for the work which they fulfilled.
²⁷   And when they were come, and had gathered the church together, they rehearsed all that God had done with them, and how he had opened the door of faith unto the Gentiles.

Once they had preached the Word, once they had done the work of the Lord. Once Paul and Barnabus were finished their missionary trip, they returned home. And all the Christians, gathered together, and "REHEARSED" they told every thing they had been threw! They stood before the people and got excited about how the Lord was workig and said,

"AND THEY WE PREACHED TO THEM AND TONS OF PEOPLE GOT SAVED! AND WE BAPTIZED THEM! AND THEN ALL THESE PEOPLE CAM AND STONED US!"

lol! can you imagine?! They must have been so excited! Excited, that the Lord was using them!

But then if you know the missionary journey. If you know the story... then you know what they went through. today so many Christians want to stay here where they are comfortable. They don't want to move out, and do what the Lord is telling them. But something I prayed about when Pastor was talking about these verses was this:

"Lord, Make me uncomfortable. So that I may be made to draw closer to you."

Guess what... the Lord answered that prayer. I was uncomfortable last night when I was told I was boasting. When I was told that I was bragging. When I was told that I didn't know what I was getting into. When I was told I wouldn't be able to do it.

But I still claim this truth. No matter how uncomfortable I am... not matter what I get myself into. The Lord will always be by my side to help me through it.

The Story of Moses:

(paraphrased) The Lord called Moses out and said "Moses,Go to Eygpt and tell them of me. Deliver my people from the hands of this King."

And Moses said "I can't Lord! What will I say?"

"You will say the the great "I Am" sent you"

"What if they do not believe me?"

"It's not your problem! I will deal with there hearts"

What would have happened if these Christians of the Bible did not listen to God, but listened to everyone else that said "you aren't strong enough you can't do it... you don't know what your getting yourself into." What wold have happened if they had listened to these people. And said to God "your crazy! I can't do this. Just forget it" WHAT WOULD HAVE HAPPENED?!

We all need to listen... to encouage each other... and know that God is in control... and he uses people that "aren't strong enough"... and he uses people that "don't know what they are getting themselves into" and he makes them soar! And I claim this promise! that God can take control and make me soar. Isn't God amazing? He can take and use ORDINARY PEOPLE!

I do not have to tone it down... I CAN SHOUT IT TO THE HIGHEST MOUNTAIN! THE LORD WANTS TO USE ME FOR HIS SERVANT!!! ORDINARY ME!!!

Just as they sent Paul out on his journies, rejoiced at the rehearsing of the souls saved- AND had A part in it- I think of you and HBF working together in the battle wherever He sends you.

"For Who will heaken unto you in this matter? but as his part is that goeth down to the battle, so shall his part be  that tarrieth by the stuff: they shall part alike"
